ABOUT
I am an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education in the Department of Teaching, Learning & Culture at Texas A&M University, and the director of the Creative Mathematics Teaching & Learning Lab (CMTL²). My scholarship centers on mathematical creativity — what it looks like, how it develops, and how every student can be given genuine opportunities to think creatively in mathematics.
My program of research sits at the intersection of mathematics education, creativity research, and teacher preparation — from creativity-directed tasks and problem posing to generative-AI supported professional development.
